Author Information
Author Bill Murphy has been an IU season ticket holder in football and basketball for decades, starting as a Knot Hole Kid in the late 1950s. The Cardiac Kids; A Season to Remember achieves his dream to write and share the story of the magical 1967 Indiana University football team and season.
Murphy teaches U.S. History at Harris Elementary School in Greenfield, Indiana as he has for nearly 30 years. Bill continues to coach basketball in the Greenfield system, a veteran of over 36 seasons and over 1,100 games from fifth grade to the high school level. He feels privileged to have worked with thousands of students over his many years of dedicated service.
